About my self
Hello! I'm Parthiban, a seasoned UX leader with over 18 years of experience in the industry. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with renowned organizations such as Mphasis, Goldman Sachs, and ING Vysya Bank. My journey has allowed me to collaborate with global team members from diverse cultural backgrounds, enriching my perspective and approach to user experience design.
I have had the opportunity to work in various countries, including India, France, and Spain, and have traveled to the United States to conduct and participate in Design Thinking workshops. These experiences have broadened my understanding of user needs and enhanced my ability to create solutions that resonate across different markets.
I specialize in solving complex user problems through Design Thinking, User-Centered Design methods, and the integration of AI in UX. While designing, I consider the full product experience and customer experience to ensure holistic and impactful solutions. I am proud to have been trained in Design Thinking at IIM Bangalore and to be an IBM Certified Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner. Additionally, I have gained domain knowledge in Airlines, Banking & Finance, Energy Management and Automation, and E-commerce, which has equipped me with a versatile skill set to tackle diverse challenges.
For almost six years, I explored my own venture as a freelancer, which allowed me to work on a variety of projects and further hone my skills in user experience design. This entrepreneurial experience has given me a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities in the UX field.
In addition to my professional endeavors, I hold a Master's degree in Visual Communication, which has further fueled my passion for photography and filmmaking. These creative pursuits have become my cherished hobbies, allowing me to explore and express my creativity in new and exciting ways.

Design Thinking
I adopt Design Thinking to solve complex user problems by following a structured, user-centered approach. Design Thinking is a methodology that provides a solution-based approach to solving problems. It is extremely useful in tackling complex problems that are ill-defined or unknown. Here's how I typically approach it
Empathize
Understand the users and their needs through observation, engagement, and immersing oneself in their experiences.
Define
Clearly articulate the problem you want to solve by synthesizing the information gathered during the empathize phase.
Generate a range of ideas and potential solutions through brainstorming sessions and creative thinking techniques.
Ideate
Prototype
Build tangible representations for a subset of ideas. Prototypes can be anything from sketches to physical models.
Test
Engage users with the prototypes to gather feedback and refine the solutions.
